On September 25, 2015, Mahli completed the Reading Interest Inventory Survey. Mahli reads outside of school, and she also reads at least once a day for fun. Mahli enjoys reading “The Day the Crayons quit” and “The day the Crayons came home”. Mahli has not had a positive or negative experience with reading, and she usually does not celebrate when she finishes a book.

 

Mahli rated her love for reading to be a 10/10. To help increase Mahli’s love of reading, her teachers and parents should allow Mahli to select books of her interests such as “The Day the Crayons” series, and they should allow her to read independently since she does not like to read in groups.
